Account Verification

Currently, users can create and use accounts without verifying ownership of their contact method. This can lead to fake/spam accounts and abuse of trials and Inability to reliably contact users (password resets, important notices)

Add an account verification feature that requires users to verify ownership of their account after sign-up ie SMS and/or Email.

Certain actions could be configured to be restricted until verification is completed, with this enforcement configurable. The goal is to reduce fake accounts and improve security.
